In the last 24 hours, 1,390 positive cases of coronavirus and 26 deaths due to COVID-19 have been detected in Italy. Currently the hospitalized are 4,107 (122 less than yesterday), of which 565 in the intensive care wards (9 less than yesterday) and 3,542 in the other wards (113 less than yesterday). 73,774 molecular swabs and 60,362 rapid antigenic tests were analyzed. The percentage of positive molecular swabs was 1.7 percent, while that of antigen tests was 0.2 percent. On Saturday, the infections recorded were 1,723 and the deaths 52.
The regions that have recorded more cases in the last 24 hours are Lombardy (257), Sicily (183), Campania (147), Lazio (127), Emilia-Romagna (123).
