A new report on the case of Denise Pipitone rekindles hopes. He talked about it Eleonora Daniele a Italian stories on Rai 1, retracing the story of the little girl from Mazara Del Vallo who disappeared at the age of 4 in 2004. The presenter, in particular, reported the testimony of a person who allegedly recognized the Roma from the video shot a few days after Denise’s disappearance in Milan by the security guard Felice Grieco.

In the well-known video a little girl named “Danas” was also filmed. According to the girl who spontaneously presented herself at the police station, the woman would be called Florina and at the time of their meeting she was living in a nomad camp near Paris. The two would have seen each other in 2018: the Roma had a daughter who said she had been adopted and he spoke with an Italian accent. In fact, even before this report, many thought that Danas was actually Denise. And indeed the Roma track has always been one of the main strands of the investigation into the case.

Also, a few days ago a Fourth Degree, a linguistic comparison performed by Professor Luciano Romito of the University of Calabria was broadcast, which takes up a sentence of Denise from a video recorded in 2004 by her mother, Piera Maggio, comparing it with the words spoken by Danas: “Where are you taking me?”. From the comparison made by the expert it emerged that the linguistic inflection would be the same. This it would suggest that the geographical origin of the two girls, Sicily, could be the same.
