Sar Mauro Macchi the new managing director for Italy, Central Europe and Greece (Iceg) of Accenture and will assume the role of CEO of Accenture Italy.
Currently responsible for strategy & consulting for Accenture in Europe, Macchi will join the company’s Global Management Committee and succeed Fabio Benasso, who will take on the role of advisor to the CEO, Julie Sweet, maintaining the position of president of Accenture Italia and continuing to be a member of the company’s Global Management Committee. Benasso has led Accenture in Italy and other countries since 2006, helping to establish it as a market leader.
Both Macchi and Benasso they will assume their roles from next September 1st.
