(ANSA) – ROME, JUN 08 – There will be tunnels equipped with thermal cameras at the Olympic stadium in Rome for the inaugural match of the European football championships which will be played on Friday evening. According to reports, they will be placed between the first ticket verification and the area before security checks. As the fans pass, they will measure body temperature. It is one of the security and anti-Covid measures contained in the security plan developed by the Rome Police Headquarters in view of the match with the public in the stands. As for the fan zones, they will be limited. The fan zone in piazza del Popolo can hold a maximum of one thousand people for each hemicycle. The entrances will be controlled and a reservation via app is required. Also by booking you will access the Imperial Forums where there will be a large area with a big screen. (HANDLE).
