BOLOGNA – The new coronavirus cases emerged in Emilia-Romagna from the 20 thousand swabs carried out in the last 24 hours (of which 42 asymptomatic). The percentage of new positives on the number of swabs made since yesterday is 0.5%. The average age of new positives today is 38.4 years.
The cases of coronavirus in Emilia-Romagna since the beginning of the pandemic are 385,070; 360,892 people healed (+94 from yesterday). The active cases, that is the actual patients, to date are 10,959 (-2 compared to yesterday). Of these, people in isolation at home, or those with mild symptoms that do not require hospital treatment or are symptom-free, are 10,503 (+18) overall, 95.8% of the total number of active cases. There are 70 patients admitted to intensive care (-2 compared to yesterday), 386 those in the other Covid departments (-18).
Coronavirus Emilia-Romagna, infections in Bologna and in the other provinces
The contagion situation in the provinces sees Bologna with 25 new cases, followed by Modena (17), Piacenza and Ravenna (both with 10 cases); then Cesena and Rimini (with 8 cases), Forlì (7), Ferrara (6), Reggio Emilia (4). Finally, Parma (3) and the Imolese district (1).
Coronavirus Emilia-Romagna, 7 dead
There are 7 new deaths: 1 in the province of Piacenza (a 64 year old man); 1 in the province of Reggio Emilia (a 71-year-old woman); 1 in that of Modena (an 87-year-old man); 2 in the province of Bologna (both women, respectively 78 and 89 years old); 1 in the province of Ferrara (an 84-year-old woman) and 1 in the Rimini province (a 72-year-old man). No deaths in the provinces of Parma, Ravenna and Forlì-Cesena. In total, there have been 13,129 deaths in the region since the beginning of the epidemic.
Vaccinations, in Emilia-Romagna 1,070,000 immunized people
