With this awareness and in the presence of Steven Marshall, Prime Minister of South Australia, Luigi De Leverano, general and military adviser to the Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi, the bilateral meeting was held this morning on the occasion of the online workshop ‘The Australian and Italian Space Industries and their roles in the Covid economic recovery ‘, organized by Sitael, an Italian company operating in the small satellite sector, and part of Angel Company. During the event, Francesca Tardioli, ambassador of Italy in Australia, Margaret Twomey, ambassador of Australia in Italy, Giorgio Saccoccia, president of the Italian Space Agency, Enrico Palermo, head of the Australian Space Agency, Giuseppe Acierno, president of Dta, Roberto Pini, member of the Scientific Committee of the Tuscan District. The workshop allowed the comparison on strategies and solutions to enhance synergies in the aerospace sector between Italy and Australia and to give life to new collaborative projects to support the space economy towards a lasting economic recovery.
