One of the most acclaimed and discussed authors in Europe, the Frenchman Michel Houellebecq, is among the most anticipated guests of the Milanesiana, Friday 2 July in the courtyard of the Royal Palace. Winner of the Goncourt Prize in 2010, he is the novelist of unease, politically incorrect, incommunicability and distance between the sexes, in novels such as “The elementary particles” or “Serotonina”. In the event “What are men for?”, After the prologue by Edoardo Nesi, Houellebecq will speak with a reading on “Baudelaire and progress”. It closes with Paolo Fresu’s trumpet in concert.
