The League A league meets in assembly. Today, the representatives of the 20 clubs of the Italian top league will meet in attendance to discuss some important issues in preparation for the 2021/22 season.
Starting with the time slots of the matches for the next edition of Serie A, which as known could vary and lead to a championship with 10 matches all played at different times, starting on Saturday afternoon and ending on Monday evening.
In addition to Monday Night of 20.45, the hypothesis would see the matches on Saturday in four windows different (14.30, 16.30, 18.30 and 20.45) and those of Sunday in five (12.30, 14.30, 16.30, 18.30 and 20.45). By avoiding overlaps and giving fans the opportunity to watch all the matches, the goal is to increase the visibility of the teams in terms of audience.
On the agenda there will also be the theme of parachute for relegated companies, but the eyes are focused above all on the invitation to submit offers for the tv rights of the Italian Cup and the Italian Super Cup for the seasons from 2021/22 to 2023/24.
For the national cup – and for the Super cup – in recent months there has been rumors of an interest on the part of Mediaset, which could try again the assault on the two competitions, after the failed attempt in 2018 (the offer was 2 million lower per season than that of Rai).
