Mauro Macchi is the new CEO of Accenture Italy and managing director for Italy, Central Europe and Greece of the group, joining the company’s Global Management Committee. Macchi, who will take office from September 1, had previously held the position of Head of Strategy & Consulting for Accenture in Europe, with a central role in declining the company’s strategy of offering advanced end-to-end services by enhancing the various components of the company. Previously Macchi had held various top positions, in Italy and abroad, in the field of consultancy and Financial Services, dealing with companies in central sectors such as banking, insurance and capital markets.
Accenture in Italy has grown steadily – continues the note – Committed to the inclusion and enhancement of differences, the company has hired and trained thousands of young people, reaching the current size of over 17,000 talents. It has made numerous acquisitions in areas of innovation and created a wide network of centers of excellence (Milan, Turin, Padua, Modena, Rome, Naples), the Advanced Technology Centers of Naples and Cagliari and launched the Forward Building program, an investment of 360 million euros to revisit the spaces and enrich the work experience in the main cities where the company is present.
