Boom in membership among young people
The Italy of vaccines is running fast, also driven by the high adhesion of young people and adolescents who do not want to give up summer. Ad hoc vaccination events have been organized for them, such as the DJ set at the Reale Mutua hub in Turin. As many as 1000 young people between 18 and 28 years old were vaccinated between 9.30 pm on Saturday and 3.30 am on Sunday night to the rhythm of music and in complete safety. An initiative that will certainly be replicated while waiting for young people to return to dance even in discos. Precisely on the reopening of the premises, a meeting should be held on Tuesday at the Ministry of Health to unravel the unresolved issues.
In Lazio, on the other hand, the Junior Open Day organized by the ASL of Rieti for the age group 12-16 years was so successful that it was decided to double the doses of Pfizer to be administered. Someone even decided to sleep in the car in front of the hospital to be sure to arrive on time. In Puglia, on the other hand, 12-15 year olds not in fragile conditions will have to wait until 23 August to be able to start their immunization campaign.
Italy is getting whiter In the meantime, the reopening calendar is proceeding quickly. From Monday Liguria, Veneto, Umbria and Abruzzo are colored in white, in addition to Sardinia, Friuli Venezia Giulia and Molise. The curfew is also relaxed: in the yellow regions it passes from 11pm to midnight. By 21 June all of Italy should become a white zone, with the sole exception of Valle d’Aosta, where it will be necessary to wait until the following week to reach the desired goal.
