Coronavirus Emilia-Romagna, today’s June 6 bulletin: 172 infections and one death

BOLOGNA. Since the beginning of the Coronavirus epidemic, 384,820 positive cases have been recorded in Emilia-Romagna, 172 more than yesterday, out of a total of 11,644 swabs performed in the last 24 hours. The percentage of new positives on the number of swabs made since yesterday is 1.5%. Of the newly infected, 78 are asymptomatic. The average age of new positives today is 34.9 years. There is a new death in the province of Modena: a 60-year-old man whose death was registered by the Reggio Emilia Ausl. In total, there have been 13,209 deaths in Emilia-Romagna since the beginning of the epidemic.

The contagion situation in the provinces records the following new cases: Modena with 30, Parma with 27, Forlì and Bologna both with 18, Ravenna and Rimini both with 14, Reggio Emilia with 13, Cesena with 12, 10 new cases in the Imola district, Ferrara with 9 and Piacenza with 7.

The total number of people healed is 431 more. The active cases, that is the actual patients, to date are 11,454 (-260 compared to yesterday). Of these, people in isolation at home, that is, those with mild symptoms that do not require hospital treatment or are symptom-free, total 10,972 (-251), 95.8% of the total number of active cases.

In the area, patients admitted to intensive care are distributed as follows: 2 in Piacenza (+1 compared to yesterday), 5 in Parma (unchanged), 10 in Reggio Emilia (+1), 13 in Modena (-1), 24 in Bologna (unchanged), 3 in Imola (unchanged), 3 in Ferrara (+1), 1 in Ravenna (unchanged), 0 in Forlì (unchanged), 3 in Cesena (unchanged) and 6 in Rimini (unchanged).
