Double murder on the outskirts of Rome where a man killed his mother and her neighbor. The request for intervention to 112 shortly after 13:00 on Sunday 6 June in Trevignano Romano, a municipality on the outskirts of the capital, where the Carabinieri of the Compagnia di Bracciano intervened to report a double murder.
Intervening in via di Vigna Rosa, investigators found the lifeless bodies of two women, one 65 and the other 76 years old. Based on what has been reconstructed so far, the two would have been killed with an improper weapon.
The alleged perpetrator, a 34-year-old man, residing in the house where the double murder was committed, unemployed, with precedents, drug addict, son of the 65-year-old, after trying to escape by car, was blocked by the Carabinieri and transported to the hospital in Bracciano for a TSO (Compulsory Health Treatment) where he is guarded.
The tragedy would have occurred at the culmination of a quarrel in the course of which the man would have killed his mother with a blunt instrument. Hearing the screams in the apartment, the neighbor would have arrived, also killed by the 34-year-old.
Technical and scientific surveys are underway on the spot by the Carabinieri of the Investigative Unit of the Ostia Group. Investigations underway, also to understand the motive and the weapon of the double crime.
