BASE presents the FAROUT festival
BASE presents the first edition of FAROUT, the festival dedicated to contemporary creation. From 10 June to 24 July 2021, 45 days of performing art and installations by 38 national and international artists and collectives await you. An event that offers the public different points of view to observe the Earth from afar, an opportunity to shift the perspective and start imagining a future of co-creation and coexistence.
The guidelines of the festival are precisely the interdisciplinarity between different artistic genres, projects and experiments aimed at overcoming the traditional categories.
Tramestio. The exhibition at Palazzo Cusani
In the noble rooms of Cusani Palace, is running until 25 June Tramestio, a site-specific exhibition that presents the works of three Milanese artists under 30, Davide Ausenda, Alice Capelli and Marco Vignati.
Reflecting on the concept of public and private, the leading artists focused on the atmosphere that is created in institutional environments in relation to those that are more intimate spaces: between subjective and universal memories we are led on a path that does not stop at the visual surface. .

Agostino Bonalumi. Small Gems
In the spaces of Cardi Gallery is running until August 6, the exhibition of Agostino Bonalumi entitled Small Gems, dedicated to a special selection of works and created in collaboration with the Bonalumi Archive. Through the works on display, small works, we retrace Bonalumi’s conceptual and design path, from canvases to sculptural production. A production that has seen the artist experiment with different materials: from the everted canvas to ceramics and bronze.
Science and technology in seventeenth-century Rome
The cycle of online conversations of the Poldi Pezzoli Museum continues, dedicated to the themes of the exhibition The Shape of Time.
Monday 7 June at 9.00 pm, Cristiano Zanetti, will hold the conference entitled Science and Technology in the Seventeenth-century Rome: the adventure of the Campani brothers. Baroque Rome, in addition to being the scene of the bloody execution of Giordano Bruno and the trial of Galileo, was also an important center of technological and scientific development of the 17th century. Here the story of the Campani brothers, among the greatest inventors and manufacturers of clocks, telescopes and microscopes of their time.
