BOLOGNA – The Civil Protection has issued a 24-hour weather alert valid for the whole day of Sunday 6 June: thunderstorms will affect all the provinces except Piacentino. The warning goes off in the same areas also for landslides and floods of the minor courses. Tomorrow, in fact, “thunderstorm activity in extension from the Apennine sectors to the entire regional territory is expected from the afternoon hours. More consistent phenomena in the central-eastern sector of the region with favorable conditions for the development of strong storms, with possible effects and associated damage”, warns the Civil protection.
Thus the sequence of sunny days is interrupted. The rainfall will continue on Monday and the trend, according to Arpae, is that of moderate instability with scattered rainfall. Temperatures will first decline (highs on Sunday around 30-31 degrees in central-western areas, and 22-26 on Monday) and then rise again around mid-week.
