Yellow alert in Veneto, Emilia-Romagna, Marche, Umbria and Abruzzo. But also monday the continuous influx of cooler currents at high altitude will favor the formation of thunderstorms with the hail risk. Wednesday still rains and thunderstorms, especially in the Alps, the pre-Alps and the central-southern Tyrrhenian regions.

IlMeteo.it forecasts for Sunday 6 June
North

Thunderstorms already in the early hours of the day: the most affected areas will be mainly the Alps and Prealps of the north-east, followed by the plains of Veneto and Friuli. The contrast between the pre-existing humid heat with the relatively cooler and unstable air masses may give rise to even strong thunderstorms accompanied by violent gusts of wind and numerous hailstorms. The Civil Protection of the Municipality of Venice issued a bad weather alert from Saturday afternoon until Monday 7 June.

Center and Sardinia

However, the bad weather will not spare the Center with thunderstorms and hailstorms especially on the Adriatic sector. On Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio the phenomena will be more irregular and discontinuous.

South and Sicily

Much warmer: in the afternoon the clouds will increase over Campania and Calabria with occasional scattered rain showers, some disturbances arriving in the evening on some areas of Puglia.
