Green pass: how it works outside Italy. From Europe to the USA – Chronicle

To enter you will have to be vaccinated (with two doses) for at least 14 days. Those who have contracted Covid will be able to show the positive result of a swab performed during the illness and the negative result of a test carried out later. Alternatively, a test can be performed within 72 hours prior to departure. To return to Italy you will need a negative swab (up to 48 hours old) or it will be mandatory to spend ten days in fiduciary isolation (with final test).

To enter you must have completed the vaccination cycle for at least 14 days. If 180 days have already passed since the second administration, you will be considered unvaccinated. Alternatively, you can show the result of a negative swab taken in the previous 48 hours. At the entrance you will have to undergo a new rapid test and you will have to go into fiduciary isolation for 10 days. This period can be shortened to 5 or 6 days if you undergo a molecular test 96 hours after arriving in Denmark. Alternatively, you can take a tampon 72 hours before departure or, if you have contracted Covid, show a certificate of recovery (no more than 9 months prior to departure). In any case, the Passenger Locator Form must be filled in before leaving. It is a document that provides information on the place of origin, the address where you will reside in Greece and any previous trips. Upon return, you will need to show the certificate of a negative swab carried out in the previous 48 hours. Alternatively you will have to face a 10-day fiduciary isolation (with final test).

To enter you will be able to show the negative result of a molecular swab within 72 hours of arrival. Upon entering, you will be subjected to a period of fiduciary isolation which can be interrupted on the fifth day by carrying out a new swab. Upon return, you will need to show the certificate of a negative swab carried out in the previous 48 hours. Alternatively you will have to face a 10-day fiduciary isolation (with final test).

To enter you will need to prove that you have completed the vaccination course for at least 14 days. Alternatively, you can show a negative molecular swab taken within 72 hours of arrival. In any case you will have to fill in a specific form in which you will have to declare the movements you have made in the last 30 days. Upon return, you will need to show the certificate of a negative swab carried out in the previous 48 hours. Alternatively you will have to face a 10-day fiduciary isolation (with final test).

Those who want to walk the streets of Lisbon or be caressed by the ocean breeze will have to carry out a molecular test within 72 hours of departure. To return to Italy you will need an antigenic or molecular test performed in the previous 48 hours, otherwise the fiduciary isolation is triggered for 10 days (with final test).

You will need the result of a negative molecular swab taken within the previous 72 hours and translated into English, French or Spanish. It will then be necessary to carry out an isolation period of 10 days during which it will be necessary to undergo two swabs: the second and eighth days of quarantine. To shorten the insulation, a test can be carried out on the sixth day. In the two days prior to departure you will have to fill in the Travel Locator Form. Upon returning to Italy you will have to show the certificate of a negative swab carried out in the previous 48 hours. Alternatively you will have to face a 10-day fiduciary isolation (with final test).

To cross the Iberian borders you will need a molecular test (carried out within 72 hours of departure). Quick swabs are invalid. To return, you will need another molecular swab no older than three days or you will trigger the fiduciary isolation for 10 days (with final test).

For the moment, anyone who was in one of the Schengen area countries (including Italy) in the 14 days prior to arrival in the US is prohibited from entering America. For those who return, it is necessary show the result of a negative test carried out in the previous 72 hours, communicate your entry into Italy and carry out a 10-day quarantine, at the end of which you will have to undergo a new swab.
