2,436 new cases, 195,369 (-4,823) positive, hospitalized fewer, 57 deaths

The situation in Italy on Saturday 5 June

As part of the health monitoring related to the spread of Coronavirus on the national territory, to date, Saturday 5th June, the total number of people who have contracted the SARS-CoV-2 virus is 4.230.153 with an increase of 2.436 new cases and a positivity rate (ratio between positive cases and swabs performed) dropped to1,02% (yesterday it was 1.15%).

The total number of currently positives is 195.369 with a decrease of 4.823 assisted than yesterday. The hospitalized patients are 5.193 (-295) of which 788 (-48) are patients admitted to intensive care.

Compared to yesterday, the deceased are 57 and bring the total to 126.472.

The total number of those discharged and healed since the beginning of the epidemic rises instead to 3.908.312, with an increase of 7.200 people compared to yesterday.

In the last 24 hours they have been performed 238.632 buffers against the 220,939 made yesterday.
