Not noticing was impossible. Angelo Piovano, known as “the most tattooed man in Italy”, died at the age of 85. For this particular characteristic he had also been awarded by the Guinness World Record.
To announce his death, on Facebook, was his nephew Marco Bruno. “Now the universe will be even more colorful,” wrote the grandson.
Even the mayor, Chiara Appendino left a message of condolence in the comments of the post published on Facebook. «Hi Angelo, we will miss you» wrote the first citizen.
A former worker at Pirelli, he made his first tattoo thirty years ago to commemorate the death of his dog. Since then he never stopped, until he completely covered his body with tattoos and piercings. Special guest at the fairs dedicated to tattoos, thanks to his particular characteristic he had become famous even outside the national borders.
