RIVOLI (TURIN) Terror last night in Rivoli: two bandits broke into the villa of a jeweler, and when he reacted they shot him. It happened around 11 pm: two men with their faces covered, one of which armed with a pistol, entered the home of a 53-year-old former jeweler on the hill of Rivoli. Determined and quick, they climbed over the fence and avoided the guard dog as well.
The landlord was awakened by the noises and surprised the two thieves, who had forced the front door of the villa and were rummaging through the drawers on the first floor. When they found the landlord in front, one of the thugs fired a pistol shot and wounded him in the leg. Immediately afterwards the bandits stole the car keys, a Maserati Levante, an Iphone and a luxury watch and fled.
The carabinieri intervened immediately and captured one of the criminals near the house. The accomplice, armed, managed to escape on foot. The landlord has been hospitalized at the Turin CTO: he is not in danger of life. Part of the stolen goods have been recovered.
