Rome, June 4, 2021 – Again Accidents at work. In the afternoon two workers I’m dead after being fallen into a cistern, a few meters deep, in theFratelli Martini winery by Cossano Belbo, a Cuneo.

According to the reconstructions, they are Gianni Messa, 58 years old from Pocapaglia (Cuneo), e Gerardo lovisi, 45 years old from Nizza Monferrato (Asti) the two victims. For some time employees of the company, known throughout the world, the two were engaged in reclamation of a cistern using gaseous nitrogen. For reasons under investigation, it seems to retrieve a fallen tool, the two entered one after the other in the tank and are passed out. Extracted by the firefighters, attempts to revive them by the health workers have been futile. The carabinieri of the Compagnia di Alba and the inspectors of the Spresal of the Asl Cn2 also arrived in the company.

And it was just this morning another sad news of death at work: a man, 59, is died on a construction site in Leffe, in the province of Bergamo. The victim around 7.45am was overwhelmed while working at ‘Plastic Leffe’, in via Pezzoli D’Albertoni, and reported a very serious crush trauma. The 118 rescuers could not help but ascertain the death. Still to be clarified the exact dynamics of the fatal accident but, according to the first reconstruction of the Carabinieri di Clusone, the victim would be a Veneto road hauler that was it run over by a bale of polyethylene of about 5 quintals, during the operations of unloading goods.
