The forecasts for the next few days in Italy according to the meteorological service of the Air Force do not promise anything good. Already from Saturday 5th the weather will not be mild with widespread thickening North: many compact clouds over Liguria, the Alps and central-eastern regions, and cumulus clouds scattered over the rest of the north, with widespread showers or thunderstorms, locally intense in the afternoon over the eastern regions, with evening attenuation in the north-west.
Center and Sardinia: many clouds over Sardinia, with widespread showers or thunderstorms, tending to become intense from the second part of the morning and in the subsequent evening attenuation; many clouds on the peninsular sector already from the early morning, compact on the Tyrrhenian regions, with local light rains or showers, tending to become widespread and stormy in the second part of the morning. From the afternoon onwards the bad weather will also extend to the remaining peninsular sector, with the phenomena that will become widespread and intense.
South and Sicily: in the morning compact densification on the peninsular Tyrrhenian regions, with scattered rains or showers, thinning out from the afternoon; medium-high clouds over the rest of the country. Temperatures: minimum increasing in the Po Valley, Ionian regions and major islands, decreasing in the Alps, Prealps, remaining Tyrrhenian regions and inland Adriatic areas, stationary over the rest of the country. Maximum decreasing in the north-east, central Adriatic regions, Sardinia and the Cuneo area, increasing in the rest of the country. Winds: generally of variable direction, weak even if with reinforcements connected to the intense storm activity. Seas: the sea and the Sardinian channel range from wavy to very wavy; recently moved to moved the Tyrrhenian and the Strait of Sicily; the remaining seas are slightly moved or almost calm.
