After more than six years, Miguel Layún (32) returns to Club America. The Mexican club has signed a contract with the Córdoba-born midfielder, recently freed from Monterrey.
Apart from his magnificent experience in the Central American national team, with which he participated in two World Cups and won a Gold Cup (73 appearances in all), Layun is known for having attended the Spanish, English and Portuguese championships with excellent results, as well as to an appearance in Italy.
In its past there are Granada, Seville, Villarreal, Porto, Watford and Atalanta. In the Nerazzurri shirt he put together just two appearances in 2009.
