Rome, 3 June 2021 – It will take place at the Rome Fair the maxi-competition of the Municipality for the hiring of 1,512 employees and which will see protagonists beyond 200 thousand candidates in 30 days of selections. The Lazio TAR has in fact rejected the appeal of the Ergife hotel and congress facility, already home to various competitions and examinations also at national level, which had challenged the decision of the administration of Roma Capitale to assign to Rome Fair the contract for the organization of the maxi-competition.
Ergife Spa, in particular, had raised several doubts about the anti-competitive aspect of this assignment, focusing on the need for a competition venue for each region of Italy, with certain characteristics and parameters. All aspects that would have made the structure on the Aurelia an online venue to host the maxi-competition.
The decision of the Tar
Instead, the Lazio Administrative Court sent the requests back to the sender, confirming the Municipality and therefore confirming the place where the maxi-competition will take place in the Fiera di Roma. “The prevailing protection must bepublic need to allow the conduct of a competition test without delay already scheduled and imminent, and of strategic importance for the municipal administration. In this perspective, pre-eminent consideration must therefore be given to the public interest in the continuity of insolvency transactions “, reads in sentence of the Tar.
