Starting from Saturday 5 June 2021 it will be back AriAnteo, the outdoor film festival. This year the festival will be richer than ever, to celebrate the recent reopening of Italian cinemas. The screenings will be held in the historic venues of Royal Palace (from 5 June) and del Cloister of the Incoronata (from 18 June), to which is added for the second year in a row the space of Triennale Gardens, where the shows will start from 11 June.

Also this year, AriAnteo has the pleasure of collaborating with the event The Milanesiana in the evenings from 29 June to 2 July; with ETHNO MUSIC FESTIVAL 2021 curated by Youth Music of Italy with artistic direction of Saul Beretta and with Festival MIXX which will close the summer festival with meetings and films from 16 to 19 September. AriAnteo Palazzo Reale will host the Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival, a review dedicated to the best adventure, exploration and outdoor sports films.

AriAnteo 2021: the June program

AriAnteo Royal Palace opens on Saturday evening 5 June with the short film The human voice by Pedro Almodóvar, presented Out of Competition at the Venice Film Festival. The ticket will have the special price of 3 euro.

In the AriAnteo program there will be many preview films including Madame Walberg’s perfumes in the original version with Italian subtitles (9 June at 9.45 pm – Palazzo Reale) which will be presented by the Museo del Profumo. Speziere Palazzo Vecchio will give each spectator a free essence.

There will also be a preview of the event Amazing Grace of Sydney Pollack and Alan Elliott (13 June at 9.45 pm – Palazzo Reale) who sees a very young Aretha Franklin, along with the Southern California Community Choir and Reverend James Cleveland, in the pulpit of the New Temple Missionary Baptist Church to give a two-day concert.
