1,968 new cases, 205,562 (-4,488) positive, hospitalized fewer, 59 deaths

The situation in Italy on Thursday 3 June

As part of the health monitoring related to the spread of Coronavirus on the national territory, to date, Thursday 3 June, the total number of people who have contracted the SARS-CoV-2 virus is 4.225.163 with an increase of 1.968 new cases and a positivity rate (ratio between positive cases and swabs performed) rose to 2,05% (yesterday it was 1.28%).

The total number of currently positives is 205.562 with a decrease of 4.488 assisted than yesterday. The hospitalized patients are 5.717 (-151) of which 892 (-41) are patients admitted to intensive care.

Compared to yesterday, the deceased are 59 and bring the total to 126,342.

The total number of discharged and healed since the beginning of the epidemic rises instead to 3.893.259, with an increase of 6.392 people compared to yesterday.

In the last 24 hours they have been performed 97.633 buffers against the 226,272 made yesterday.
