A big news is that the event after seven years in Alghero returns to Olbia. The program includes a route consisting of 20 special stages divided into three stages for a total of 303.10 km timed for a total of 1,299.02 km of overall route.
The first stage on Friday 4 June, 127.40 km long timed, is made up of four tests repeated twice and will take place in Monte Acuto (Filigosu and Terranova) and in upper Gallura (Tempio and Tula). On Saturday 5th June there will be another 129.62 km timed, with 4 special stages repeated twice again set in Monte Acuto (Coiluna and Monte Lerno) and then in Anglona (Castelsardo) and Gallura (a new time trial in Bortigiadas). Finally, on Sunday 6 June the final stage of 46.08 km timed in which there will be two new special stages repeated twice set on the north coast of Gallura. Braniatogghiu, which returns after ten years and the new power stage of Aglientu-Santa Teresa will host the scenario on which the race will end.
The challenges for the national championships will instead take place only on the first stage, on Friday.
The magnificent ten Wrc Plus
At the start of the race all the big names of the World Championship will be present with ten Wrc Plus that will be entrusted to the three official Toyota drivers: Evans, Ogier and Rovanpera; Hyundai with Neuville, Tanak and Sordo (winner of the last two editions) and the two of Ford M-Sport which lines up Greensmith and Suninen. There will also be a fourth Yaris Wrc Plus entrusted to Takamoto Katsuta and the Hyundai i20 Wrc Plus for Pierre Louis Loubet. In the world championship race also two standard bearers of the Aci Team Italia national team, Alberto Battistolli with Simone Scattolin and Alessio Profeta with Sergio Raccuia, both on Skoda Fabia R5.

Four days live TV and streaming on Wrc +, Rai Sport will broadcast the live broadcast of 4 special stages, in collaboration with Aci Sport, on Aci Sport TV the appointments concerning the Italian series. A quarter of the spectators are admitted to the competition, compared to the normal availability of spaces reserved for the public.
