Accident Paderno Dugnano, the 72-year-old who overwhelmed a 3-year-old boy was driving a seized car without a license

He drove aseized car and had the license revoked the 72-year-old who yesterday overwhelmed a three-year-old child at the Parco Lago Nord in Paderno Dugnano (Milan). The confirmation came from the Prosecutor of Monza, Claudio Gittardi. The child is still hospitalized in critical conditions at the Papa Giovanni XXIII hospital in Bergamo. Contrary to what had circulated, the elderly man had obtained a driving license which was then withdrawn. It is an Italian man, with criminal record, who is now also hospitalized in serious condition at the Niguarda hospital in Milan.

The carabinieri of the Sesto San Giovanni company are rebuilding the dynamics of the accident. The man drove the car – a Ford Focus – into a pedestrianized driveway in the park, stepped off the road and investing a family. The hypothesis of driving in a state of intoxication or under the influence of substances is excluded, but not that of illness. At the moment, the man is being investigated for very serious personal injury, as well as driving without a license.
