ENGINES – The appointment with the Italian Rally Terra Championship for Paolo Andreucci is back. The multiple champion from Garfagnana will be at the start of the second round which will be held on Sardinian dirt roads at the same time as the world championship test.

The popular Ucci will therefore go in search of redemption in the Sardinian race, given the really unfortunate start of the season in the Adriatic. A rally that ended not in the best way, but where he still managed to demonstrate the potential in the shakeodwn that preceded the race. The car with which he will take the start is always the Skoda Fabia R5 Evo2 of Silvio Lazzara’s Team H Sport, with MRF Tires tires and will be supported by the M33 and Skygate team. Alongside Paolo Andreucci, on this occasion there will be no navigator Francesco Pinelli, absent for personal commitments, but Rudy Briani returns to the right seat.

There will be four special stages that the riders of the Rally Italia Sardegna valid for the CIRT will undertake to do battle. After the starter of the shakedown, the drivers of the Italian series will battle on two special stages to be repeated twice, the “Filigosu-Sa Conchedda” of 22.29 km and the “Terranova” of 14.36 km. The tricolor drivers, however, will undertake the tests in line with the drivers of the world championship, so it will be essential to pay attention to the distortion of the road surface, following the passage of the caravan of the world championship. The departure will take place from Olbia, at the Service Park set up in Isola Bianca, while the service between the two laps will be remote, as in the golden years rallies, in Monti at the Cantina del Vermentino. I arrive back in Olbia at 6.30 pm on Friday.
