On Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 June it will be possible to visit over 150 gardens throughout Italy, some of which are open as an exception, as part of the “Appointment in the Garden” initiative.
Now in its fourth edition, the event is conceived as a “garden party” and invites the general public to discover the historical, artistic and botanical wealth of Italian gardens. In fact, during the weekend various meetings, events and special activities open to the whole family will be organized. The event will also offer the opportunity to inform the general public about the activities necessary to care, restore and protect the gardens, in view of a major national enhancement plan. A hope that is finally reflected in the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, which contains measures in favor of the heritage of Italian parks and gardens.
Appuntamento in Giardino “is an initiative proposed by APGI – Association of Parks and Gardens of Italy. The event, conceived as an authentic garden party, was born in accordance with the” Rendez-vous aux jardins “initiative, which will take place simultaneously in numerous countries.
