CALTANISSETTA – It created non-existent tax credits to guarantee its customers, residing mainly in Lombardy, Piedmont and Emilia Romagna, tax savings of over 20 million euros and the settlement of pending disputes with collection bodies.
It was the technique discovered by the financial police implemented by a 49-year-old tax consultant from Caltanissetta – CG are his initials – who was banned from the profession by the investigating judge of the Nisseno capital. The precautionary measure also provides for the seizure of assets for over 4 million against him and another 90 of the 140 under investigation, including individuals and companies.
The investigations and the precautionary order were carried out by soldiers from the economic-financial police unit of Caltanissetta. For 140 clients of the professional, the Public Prosecutor also found violations of a criminal nature, configuring the crime of “undue compensation”.
During the investigation, other preventive seizures had already been carried out against them for an amount equivalent to the unpaid taxes, equal to approximately 8 million euros, bringing the value of the assets to which the seals were placed to 12 million. The investigations by the Fiamme Gialle also concerned the high standard of living of the tax consultant and made it possible to identify and seize, as a guarantee for the sums defrauded from the tax authorities, in addition to a property and financial resources, five cars, including a Ferrari, motor vehicles, numerous fine watches and even some gold bars and coins.
