I have been in service at the Milan Fair for seven months. There are five nurses from the Asst of Lodi specialized in emergencies who are waiting to know when they will be able to return to the centers of Lodi. These are specialized personnel (in departments such as Reanimation where the employees on duty in the hospitals of Lodi and Codogno are in constant shortage) who have been working in the Covid department that the Region has entrusted to the Polyclinic since 2 November last. A precious contribution, the one given by the people of Lodi, but which would no longer be necessary. To date, despite the reduction in beds in the Fair (reduced to 28 with the end of the third wave), it is not yet clear when their period of activity in Milan will end. From the Region there is talk of probable closure on June 15 (provided that the infections do not go back). Local politics and trade unions ask for clarity on the case. “We expect answers from the Lodi Asst – says Marta Cobianco, councilor of the M5s of Casalpusterlengo -. We know that this staff has sent numerous requests to the company, without reassurance”. CD
