Guided tour of underground Milan

Milano – Saturday January 15th 2022 at 15.00 one is scheduled guided tour of underground Milan, with meeting at 14.45 at the Arengario staircase in Piazza Duomo: an opportunity to explore some archaeological areas located in the city center.

Milano – Just a few meters below the Duomo you can discover a Milan that no longer exists: the few archaeological remains date back to the time in which Sant’Ambrogio baptized Sant’Agostino and to a Milan of early years of Christianity. The second stop of the visit is the crypt of San Giovanni in Conca: under the remains of the apse, one of the few Romanesque crypts still existing in Milan is hidden.

Milano – The cost is 22 euro per person (including the entrance ticket to the archaeological remains under the Cathedral and radio guides for distancing) to participate, as per anti Covid-19 regulations in force, the Super Green Pass and the use of the mask Ffp2.
