Long queues at Fiera di Milano for the vaccination of children between 5 and 11 years old

Long queues at the Fiera di Milano vaccination center

Long queues of several hours were registered on January 3, 2022 at the vaccination center Fiera di Milano, dedicated to vaccination of children aged between 5 and 11 years.

Lots of families queuing in the cold with children already in viale Scarampo, even before entering the waiting areas to undergo vaccination.

The queue reached almost 1 km in length and the time to climb the line was about 2 hours.

The Lomabardia Region has communicated that the disservice was caused by the parents themselves who showed up at the vaccination hub without booking any appointment.

Booking is essential to avoid long queues in the cold and frost, and those who do not book, create serious inconvenience to both health workers and other children.
