It was born not even a second after the stroke of midnight Olivia, the first in Italy of the year 2022. The birth took place at the Santa Famiglia Nursing Home in Rome. Olivia – with her mother Alexandra and her father Luca – is fine and weighs 3,800 kg.

The birth took place in the Roman Clinic in via dei Gracchi, the only single specialist in obstetrics and gynecology, which recorded the happy record of 2,050 children born in 2021. 2022 is the fifth consecutive year in which the first child of the year was born in the capital of the Holy Family.

“Welcome Olivia and thanks to mum and dad for choosing the Holy Family to give birth to their daughter. I also sincerely thank the team of doctors and employees of the Clinic who with competence and dedication take charge of the woman by providing 360-degree assistance and guaranteeing the quality standards of excellence that have allowed us to develop a care model Casa di Cura Santa Family. My thoughts at the dawn of the new year go to those professionals who have worked these holidays so that all women and patients and their families could best experience pregnancy and childbirth as a magical moment in life. We are happy to be able to welcome the first child born in the capital again this year ”, says Donatella Possemato, Director of the Holy Family Nursing Home.
