Rome, 9 December 2021 – The number of Italian regions in yellow is decreasing, a color that indicates an average risk with regard to the Covid19 pandemic. In the map of the epidemiological situation of theEcdc, in fact, updated every week and which serves as a reference ‘compass’ for travel restrictions, only five Italian regions are still yellow and it is Umbria, Puglia, Molise, Sicily and Sardinia. All the others, therefore, are in the red, which means in a high risk category.

In particular, the ECDC distinguishes Aosta Valley, South Tyrol, Veneto e Friuli Venezia Giulia in dark red, the maximum risk band, compared to the other red territories.

Overall, Italy still remains the State of the EU and the See in the relatively best conditions: the rest of Europe is in fact in red or dark red, with the exception of three communities in Spain (Extremadura, Madrid and Cantabria), in yellow, and two regions of Romania.
