17,959 new cases and 86 deaths

The coronavirus epidemic in Italy: today’s bulletin, Wednesday 8 December 2021. The toll of the last 24 hours of the covid epidemic in Italy is 17,959 new cases and 86 deaths. The data from the Ministry of Health show a positive rate of 3.18% with 564,698 swabs carried out. There are 6,099 patients hospitalized with symptoms (+21 since yesterday), 791 those in intensive care (+15 in the last 24 hours). Since yesterday 9,540 people have been healed, bringing the total to 4,768,578 since the beginning of the pandemic in our country.

In yesterday’s bulletin, Tuesday 7 December 2021, 15,756 new cases and 99 deaths were recorded. The situation is constantly evolving, with various Regions that risk passing into the yellow zone. Meanwhile, the green light from the Ministry of Health has arrived for vaccination for the age group 5-11 years.

Today in the Lazio out of 17,665 molecular swabs and 35,339 antigenic swabs for a total of 53,004 swabs, 1,554 new positive cases are recorded (+80), 3 deaths (-9), 760 hospitalized (-9), 113 intensive care (+7 ) and +891 the healed.

The Crisis Unit of the Region Piedmont reported 1,165 new cases of people who tested positive for Covid-19 (of which 462 after antigen tests), equal to 2.7% of 42,427 swabs performed, of which 32,354 antigenic. There are 43 hospitalized in intensive care (+4 compared to yesterday). There are 453 hospitalized patients not in intensive care (-10 compared to yesterday). No deaths.

There are 1,175 new cases of Covid-19 that emerged yesterday in Campania from the analysis of 32,862 tests. In today’s bulletin of the Campania Region crisis unit, a new death is recorded. In Campania there are 25 Covid patients hospitalized in intensive care, 350 Covid patients hospitalized in hospital wards.

There are 791 coronavirus infections in Tuscany today according to numbers and Covid data from the region’s bulletin released by Governor Eugenio Giani on social media. “The new cases registered in Tuscany are 791 out of 32,558 tests of which 11,640 molecular swabs and 20,918 rapid tests. The rate of new positives is 2.43% (8.4% on the first diagnoses)”, writes Giani, adding that vaccines currently administered are 6,540,724.

In Friuli Venezia Giulia 643 new infections were detected, with a positive percentage of 7.3%. The deaths of 8 people were recorded. The number of people admitted to intensive care is down to 27, while patients in other departments are down to 300.

There are 468 new coronavirus infections today 8 December 2021 in Puglia, according to data and numbers of the latest Covid-19 bulletin of the Region. No new deaths. There are 4,833 people currently positive in Puglia, 141 hospitalized in a non-critical area, 18 in intensive care.

According to the Covid-19 emergency bulletin released by the Health Protection Department of the Region Calabria, 323 new infections are registered (out of 4,970 swabs carried out), +159 recovered and 3 deaths (for a total of 1,514 deaths). The bulletin also records +161 currently positive, +155 in isolation, +9 hospitalized and, finally, -3 intensive therapies (for a total of 17).
