That wild boars are adapting to city life is nothing new. Sightings of families walking in the city streets are more and more frequent. But that now this animal also becomes familiar with the game most loved by Italians is a peculiarity. Yes, wild boars are learning to play soccer. It happens in Genoa, a city where wild boars are increasingly reported even in central areas. One of the places chosen by the ‘urban boars’ to ‘graze’ in the city is the bed of the Bisagno stream and in particular the central stretch, a stone’s throw from the Brignole railway station. But to play football they chose an area a little further north, the stretch of the middle Val Bisagno.
