Sixty-five delightful huts, embellished with lights and decorations, will invade Piazza Duomo, starting from Wednesday 1 December and until 6 January, for the traditional market promoted by Confcommercio with the patronage of the Municipality. An event where it will be possible to buy the most original tree decorations, nativity figurines, and then lots of gift ideas: from handcrafted creations to clothing and much more. And then the delights that cannot be missing on the Christmas or New Year’s table, such as caviar, truffles, Sardinian and Sicilian delights and much more. Shopping, but also solidarity: part of the proceeds will be donated to the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo, for the restoration of the cathedral organ and to other city realities, such as the Casa della Carità di Don Virginio Colmegna, Fondazione Asilo Mariuccia, Cav Mangiagalli, Istituto dei Tumors. There is also a significant “green” gesture for the city with the Christmas Market: the donation of about 10,000 euros of plane trees and related maintenance and planting in a peripheral area of Milan.
For the little ones, then, an unmissable event: in Piazza Duomo they will find the House of Santa Claus, with the mailbox. With the help of mum and dad, they will be able to write the letter and then collect the gift from Santa Claus on the morning of December 25th.
Market hours: Monday to Sunday, from 8.30 to 22
