The umpteenth episode of degradation and the intervention of the State Police led the Police Chief of Bergamo, Maurizio Auriemma, to issue a decree of suspension of the license pursuant to art. 100 Tulps for 30 days for a public establishment in via Baschenis. At the same time, a similar decree of suspension for 15 days was also issued against a bar in Costa Volpino in which repeated episodes of cocaine dealing were detected.
In the case of the public place in the city, the provision was made necessary following repeated interventions by the police to report noises, quarrels and fights, especially in the evening, inside and outside the bar with affected people, often under the influence of alcoholic substances. The latest of these interventions saw three flying crews engaged on the night of November 21, following a dispute that began inside and then resulted in a fight in the outdoor area outside the bar, a dispute that continued, despite the presence of the crews, including three women in a state of drunkenness.
One of these, the mother of a few months old baby girl, left her daughter in the stroller with clothes that were not suitable for the cold weather of the evening.
For this reason, on the instructions of the Deputy Public Prosecutor at the Juvenile Court, the child was temporarily entrusted to the care of the Pediatric Department of the Papa Giovanni XXIII Hospital, while the woman, in a precarious psychophysical state, was transported to the same hospital. to cure alcohol intoxication. The public exercise will also be reported to the Municipality of Bergamo for the purpose of adopting the administrative measures of competence, as it has already been hit on other occasions by similar measures following the continuous interventions of the police forces as well as for the constant violations of rules administrative.
