The opening of a negotiation during the civil trial before the Court of Appeal of Milan for the last aftermath of the Coopcostruttori affair. The procedure sees the former partners gathered in Carspac 2 (defended by the Codacons lawyer Bruno Barbieri, photo) and the national, regional and provincial Legacoop opposed. In the center, a claim for damages for twenty million against the money that the former members had paid into the coffers of the cooperative giant. A paper hearing was scheduled for yesterday morning. However, the parties asked for a postponement for two reasons. The first is the death of one of Legacoop’s lawyers. The second is the news of the opening of a negotiation (probably out of judgment) between Legacoop and the former shareholders of Constructors. In the coming days, the court should rule on the parties’ request by setting a new date and allowing time to move forward with this negotiation. “It is the first time since we started the trial – the lawyer Barbieri just comments – that the lawyers of Legacoop have accepted to open a negotiation with us”.
