A new disturbance advances towards Italy, destined to influence the weather conditions in a large part of our territory between Sunday 21 November and Monday 22. The first signs of deterioration will already be visible on Sunday, when, especially starting in the afternoon, part of our most western sectors will come to terms with first rains.
The more active nucleus of the disturbance will then cross the country on Monday, when we will observe widespread and locally intense rainfall.
The disrupted system will move away from Italy on Tuesday, granting one truce bad weather destined to last a short time: the next worsening of the weather will be felt as early as mid-week.
The weather forecast for Sunday 21 November
In the morning mostly clear or partly cloudy skies, but with widespread mists on the plains of the North, the Adriatic coast and inland areas of the Center. In the afternoon cloudiness increasing in the North, in the Tyrrhenian regions and on the Major Islands: some rain on Liguria, Tuscany and Sardinia. In the evening, scattered rains over Liguria, Piedmont, Lombardy, Tuscany, Lazio, Campania, Western Sicily and Sardinia.
Maximum temperatures decreasing in much of the North, in the central Tyrrhenian regions and in the Islands. Southern winds, moderate on the western seas, weak elsewhere.
The weather forecast for Monday 22 November
Cloudy day over most of Italy. Scattered rains in the North-West and on Veneto, the upper Adriatic, Emilia Romagna, central regions (especially the Tyrrhenian ones), Campania and Western Sicily; local rains also possible on southern Sardinia and Salento; snow on the Alps Western and Central over 1300-1500 meters.
Maximum temperatures in further slight decrease in the North and Tyrrhenian regions. Winds intensifying: we report Libeccio stretched over the Ionian sea and between Sardinia and Sicily; locally strong from the northeast on the upper Adriatic; tense to strong winds from the north in Liguria.
