SECOND PART OF THE WEEK, INCREASING INSTABILITY. If in the first part of the new week the effects related to depression on the Iberian Peninsula on the whole they will be modest on Italy, from Thursday the instability seems intent on intensifying. The Iberian sack will in fact be hooked by a descent of cold currents from Northern Europe that will reinvigorate it and help it to resume its natural path eastward. It will thus pass over Italy between Thursday and Friday, giving rise to a more organized deterioration over most of our regions, followed by an intense flow of western currents that will maintain a certain instability on the Tyrrhenian side and from a general drop in temperatures.
THURSDAY THE WORST DAY. Thursday will probably be the worst day of the week, with widespread rains in the north, on the Tyrrhenian regions and on the major islands, in extension to the Adriatic and Ionian sides. It will snow on the Alps from 1000 / 1500m and on the central-northern Apennines from 1500 / 2000m, while on Friday we should see unstable conditions in the Tyrrhenian regions from Tuscany to Calabria with showers, thunderstorms and falling snow levels on the Apennines. Instead, we should go towards an attenuation of bad weather in the Northwest, on the Adriatic and Ionian regions. AND at the end of the week an irruption of arctic currents from Northern Europe towards the central Mediterranean is increasingly probable, with consequent resurgence of bad weather in many of our regions and with temperatures in sharp decrease. Given the temporal distance, the trend could change in the coming days. we advise you to follow the next updates.
