One year after the start, Metropolitan City of Milan the multiannual action plan developed together with Safety21 and the Municipality continues with the interventions dedicated to road safety and territorial control envisaged by the Milano Metropolitana Safety Project. A new traffic light control system will be installed in the municipality of San Donato Milanese, making the roads managed by the Metropolitan City even safer.
The system communicates and interacts with the Titan® ecosystem, the platform supplied to the Local Police that receives and manages information, data and images in the cloud that are useful for detecting any infringements and for the scientific processing of traffic analyzes.
In particular, the control system in the municipality of San Donato Milanese will be active from 12 noon on Monday 15 November, on the SP ex SS 415 Paullese, at the intersection with the Via Fiume Lambro and Via Gela turning, towards Paullo and towards Milan. (near the intersection that runs alongside the entrance to Rosso Pomodoro di San Donato Milanese).
It is a tool equipped with intelligent technology with low environmental impact, able to identify each passage with a red light, to acquire images from the cameras present and to ascertain and document infringements in real time through video, respecting the privacy of citizens.
All the initiatives of the Metropolitan City Safety Project are supported by a communication campaign aimed at raising awareness among road users towards a more responsible and correct behavior towards the territory and the environment.
