Just Eat: ten years in Italy, new hires are coming in Milan

Just Eat celebrates the 10th anniversary of its arrival in Italy, a country considered key for the Group, and announces investments and projects to consolidate its presence. Among these, the opening in Milan, by the end of the year, of an internal customer care, which, when fully operational, will count over 200 employees. At the beginning of 2022, more than 400 employees will therefore be expected in the new Milan office, in via De Castillia 23.

Plan

The project joins the consolidation of the proprietary delivery model, with over 6,000 riders hired with a subordinate employment contract based on the national contract of the logistics sector, and the opening of the hubs, the logistical and organizational offices of the riders, scheduled for early 2022.

The plan for Italy also provides for expansion to important centers such as Palermo, by November 2021, together with an increase in the supply of restaurants, up to 75% of the national coverage.

The statements

“We are proud of the path we have made to date and of the evolution we have had, first as pioneers and now as a leader in this market”, says Daniele Contini, Country Manager of Just Eat Italia.
