Imperia is 54ª in Italy, between capital city from province, according to what emerged from the 28th Urban Ecosystem Report of Legambiente and Ambiente Italia published this morning on the daily “The sun 24 hours”.

The study is based on 18 parameters grouped in 5 macro-areas (air, water, waste, mobility, environment) and the Ranking finale photograph with data relating to 2020 the environmental performance of 105 provincial capital cities.
Imperia excels in some areas, most notably the air quality (4th for nitrogen dioxide concentration, 7th for Pm10 concentration) and the daily consumption of drinking water for domestic use (3rd). The indicators more negative, however, the pedestrian areas (Imperia 90ª), the transport public (101ª), and the public green (102ª), given the latter that Imperia has been dragging along for many years without being able to improve.
A fact must be found rather negative on cycle paths (79ª) destined however to considerably improve with the conclusion of the work on the cycle path on the former railway site, and the leap in come on from Imperia in classification of differentiated waste, with the provincial capital 41 ° after dark years, always in the slums of the ranking.
