Lombardy, the situation. With 34,781 swabs carried out, the number of new Covid cases registered in Lombardy is 294, with a positivity rate of 0.8%. There is a slight decrease in the number of people admitted to intensive care (-1, now they are 46), while they are increasing in the wards (+10, now they are 348). No deaths registered, so the total number of victims remains at 34,201 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic.

Lombardy, the new cases by province. 146 positives were reported in Milan (of which 77 in Milan city), 22 in Bergamo, 34 in Brescia, 7 in Como, 2 in Cremona, 3 in Lecco, 2 in Lodi, 17 in Mantua, 18 in Monza, 8 in Pavia, 8 in Sondrio and 12 in Varese.

Italy, the situation. There are 4,197 new coronavirus cases registered in the last 24 hours in Italy, down from 5,822 the previous day. The victims are 38 (while the previous figure was 26). The total number of deaths therefore rises to 132,428. A total of 249,115 swabs were carried out (molecular and antigenic), about 185,656 less than the 434,771 of the previous day. The positivity rate is 1.68 percent, up from 1.34 percent the previous figure. There are 415 patients in intensive care in Italy, 17 more than yesterday in the balance between income and expenses. Daily admissions are 35 (yesterday 26). The hospitalized with symptoms in the ordinary wards are 3,362, or 147 more than yesterday.
