Antico Vinaio, the Florentine shop famous for its stuffed hot crushes, will open in Rome, Pantheon area, in the heart of the historic center, with two rooms, practically facing each other. The first is in piazza della Maddalena and the second is in via della Rosetta. On the menu, which includes about 50 stuffed flatbreads, there will also be a ‘Roman’ surprise, most likely a Carbonara-flavored flatbread.

Most likely it will be a schiacciata with a carbonara flavor, but there is also a schiacciata ‘cacio e pepe, artichokes and porchetta’. “It will still be something linked to the territory”, explained Mazzanti.

Antico Vinaio was born in Florence in 1989 thanks to the Mazzanti family. Over time it has become a reference point for the city and for street food lovers. In 2014 it became the most reviewed place in the world and in Italy on Tripadvisor and today it is still in the very first positions. Bars have been opened in Milan, New York and Los Angeles. Among the most famous schiacciate, just to name a few, are the Favolosa, with artichoke cream, sbriciolona, ​​pecorino and eggplant cream, or Dante, with capocollo, rocket, stracchino and truffle cream.
