Phrases like these, accompanied by the launch of firecrackers and even a dead pigeon, were addressed to a group of young and very young LGBTs, between 12 and 19 years old, on Sunday afternoon in the center of Ferrara. A homophobic attack by a group of young people, taken up among other things by the mobile phone of a victim who posted it on social media as a complaint, making it go viral. The boys who were victims of the attack were sitting and chatting, the mother of one of them told the local newspaper Nuova Ferrara: “My daughter just had a ‘rainbow’ handbag”. “They know some of the young people who attacked them – he adds – on other occasions there were jokes, allusions, but nothing similar to what happened the other night”. The family, the woman points out, has contacted Arcigay Ferrara which has made itself available for any legal support, given that there is the intention to “present formal complaint “. “I hope other parents choose to join me too,” he told the Resto del Carlino. The guys, you see in the video, were targeted by homophobic insults, with references to Mussolini, and by firecrackers. Shocked, they immediately called 112 and the patrol removed the attackers and advised them to file a complaint
