The data for Monday 1 November. The positivity rate rises to 1.9% (yesterday 1.3%) with 146,725 swabs. There had not been such a high percentage since mid-September. Zero new infections in Valle d’Aosta. Admissions: +109. Intensive care: +22
I am 2.818
the new cases of coronavirus in Italy (yesterday there were 4,526, here the bulletin). It goes up like this at least 4.774.783
the number of people who have contracted the SARS-CoV-2 virus (including recovered and died) since the outbreak began. THE deaths today I’m 20
(yesterday there were 26), for a total of 132,120 victims from February 2020. People recovered or discharged they are altogether 4.558.941 e 1.524 those that came out of the Covid nightmare today (2,432 yesterday). The positive current – the subjects who have the virus – turn out to be in everything 83.722, equal to +1.274 compared to yesterday (+2.067 the day before).
The swabs and the scenario
I total swabs (molecular and antigenic) were 146.725, or 203,445 less than yesterday when there were 350,170. While the the rate of positivity rises to 1.9
% (approximation of 1.92%); yesterday it was 1.3%.
There has not been such a high percentage since mid-September (see 1.9% on 9 September and 2% on 10 September and 2.3% on 13 September). With the difference that then the curve was downhill and there were no buffers for the green pass in the calculation, which tend to lower this figure. Here is the map of the contagion in Italy.
Less infections in 24 hours than yesterday. The oscillating curve is lowered due to a smaller number of swabs, like every Monday (the tests are those processed on Sunday). The trend remains slowly growing and can be seen from the comparison with last Monday (25 October) – the same day of the week – when they were recorded +2,535 almost with a positive rate of 1.1%: in fact today there are more new infections than that day, with a higher percentage (1.9% versus 1.1%).
The Lazio has the highest number of new infected: here are +445 cases with a rate of 3.3% calculated on 13,519 swabs. Above 400 altitude there is then theEmilia Romagna (+407 cases with a 3.7% rate). To have processed the largest number of regional tests the Lombardy
which thanks to over 29 thousand analyzes identified 186 new positives (rate 0.6%). Note the Valle d’Aosta that communicates zero cases with 542 swabs and Molise which has only one new infected, found with 193 tests.
There are 20 victims in the bulletin, six fewer than yesterday. Eleven regions, plus the two provinces of Trento and Bolzano, have zero bereavement: they are Campania, Emilia-Romagna, Puglia, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Liguria, Marche, Abruzzo, Umbria, Basilicata, Molise and Valle d’Aosta. While the highest number of deaths in Veneto (4) and Tuscany (4).
The health system
Hospital stays are increasing in every area. The beds occupied in ordinary Covid wards I’m +109 (yesterday +47), for a total of 2,863 hospitalized. The beds occupied in intensive care (TI) are +22 (yesterday -4) – this is the balance between the people who left and those who entered ICU -, bringing the total of the most seriously ill patients to 364, with 33 entrances to resuscitation (yesterday 17).
The vaccine doses administered are over 89,8 millions. Citizens who have completed the vaccination cycle are over 44,7 millions (82,91% of the population over 12). To have received at least one single dose are 46.6 million people (86.34% of vaccinables). Here the map updated every evening and here the real-time data of the anti Covid-19 vaccines report on the government website.
