They will start tomorrow in the very central street X Days, in the section between piazza Loggia and via IV Novembre, the laying works of new pipelines intended for the replacement and strengthening of the aqueduct, low pressure gas and medium voltage power lines.
The construction site, under the responsibility of A2A, will remain open until May 20th next year, and will involve road changes, which will be communicated with appropriate signs, and the removal of some parking areas. The entrances and pedestrian passages can always be used, while the entrances and driveways will be guaranteed compatibly with the progress of the works. In addition, starting from Saturday, until the end of the works, i Emporium market stalls will be moved from via X Giornate to piazza Loggia.
The intervention will be divided into four stages, interrupted by two suspensions: the first phase, which will concern piazza Loggia, via Volta and via Cardinale Bevilacqua, will extend from tomorrow to 10 December and will be followed by a break of about a month in order not to compromise the holiday season. The second phase opens on Monday 10 January, involving the first section of via Volta and via Bevilacqua and which will close on 4 February. Another brief stop, to resume work on 17 February in via Volta and via Bevilacqua for the third phase. The last step will take shape from March 15th to May 20th and will affect via Bevilacqua and via IV Novembre. To allow the works, via X Giornate will be closed starting from piazza Loggia up to via Bertolotti and, thereafter, up to via IV Novembre with a ban on parking and forced removal on both sides and two-way traffic in the sections not affected by the works. . In piazza Loggia (south side, in front of Palazzo Rizzotti) there will be a ban on parking and forced removal on both sides and in two directions. Guaranteed two stalls for people with disabilities near the intersection with via XXIV Maggio.
